-Sumo Squat to hip hike
-triangle pose

Skill/Strength:
POSE Drills
-Ball of Foot drills (3x10)
-Wall Drill (3x20)
-Forward lunge with exaggerated pull on one side (with metronomes) (3x10 each)

MetCon: "Helen"
3 rounds for time of:
Run 400 meters
21 KB swings, 1.5pood
12 Pull-ups

hey team - im doing an oly clinic at crossfit watertown (CT) on saturday november 21. james will be there as well to coach. i think both sessions (9-12 and 2-5) have a little room in them (limit 20 people). its a little bit ot a drive, but thought i would let you all know.

I attempted to grab this WOD by the lapels, but my body wasn't complying! Thanks to the 6am crew for the cheers after I finished about 5-10 minutes after the rest of you "Fire Breathers"!

11:40...used the metronome on the runs and kind of loved it. Still probably wasn't perfect pose, but my foot turnover and overall pace were both much faster.

Learned alot in the pose drill this morning, but was FAR from my A-game on the wod. 4 minutes slower than my PR from 1 month ago. Pull ups seems to be getting worse instead of better. I should probably stop skipping dinner and eating candy for breakfast. gah.

7:57 on the WOD today, inside of my legs and glutes still feeling the Bulgarian one legged torture sessions but was able to put together some strong kb swings to finish quickly. Props to everyone in the 7am class for pushing hard. Quote of the day: "We'll stop running when there's 12 inch of snow on the ground, and we'll start again as soon as the ice melts." - Neal on a question about poor weather running thresholds...

If you haven't signed up for the paleo challenge, you should really think about it, Erica's got some pretty cool stuff lined up and she's looking forward to pay forward the transformation she's seen in herself (since she started paleo a few months ago she's gone from middling to head of the pack) to all of the people who show up. It'll be fun and then some :)

Today's 6AM exemplifies what CFB means to me. I woke up at 5AM swearing at the place. I left CFB at 7AM loving the place.
