At the YMCA yesterday did heavy squats and press, then 10-9-8-7... of squat clean 135#, 1.5pood KB swings. My legs and back were still really sore and tired so this WOD took me forever!
On the plus side I saw a guy doing burpees, deadlifts and KB swings and knew he was a crossfitter. Introduced myself and he was Vince, the Crossfit trainer at St. Johns Prep. He teaches Crossfit as one of the phys ed classes there. Pretty cool to hear him talk about how his kids really are taking to crossfit, getting healthy, and becoming real athletes. I wish they had taught Crossfit at my high school back in the day.

alec, i met vince at coach b's oly cert earlier this year. he's a really good guy and has some funny Zone stories
